Karlygash Abiyeva holds a PhD in Political Science from IEP Paris and a Master’s degree from the Kazakh University of World Languages. She started her career in public institutions (National Assembly, French Embassy in Kazakhstan), then in the private sector (lobbying and strategic intelligence) for cooperation projects with Central Asian countries and Russia.
She joined X-PM in 2017 and is in charge of X-PM’s international development. With Patrick Laredo, she organises the sessions of the Cercle International, a French business club that brings together managers and executives who have lived abroad to discuss geopolitical issues in order to identify strategic orientations in terms of innovation, investment, supply chain and location.
In parallel, Karlygash Abiyeva is also a director of the WIL Group, a global network of interim management companies operating in 60 countries on all continents, of which X-PM is a co-founder with 13 other members.
