Maryam Velasque began her career in management consulting at KPMG Peat Marwick and then KPMG Consulting where she was in charge of developing several industries (automotive, ready-to-wear, cosmetics), services (electric transport, postal distribution) and public companies (collection, ministries).
She then joined GE Capital as advisor to the Chairman. Appointed Managing Director of the X-Sell business at GE Capital, Maryam Velasque joined the bank’s executive committee and was responsible for the development strategy of the client portfolio. She was appointed Managing Director of GE Capital’s Savings business to create the business and launch a high-end savings offer on the French market, exclusively aimed at wealthy clients.
Maryam Velasque holds a master’s degree from the Leonardo da Vinci School of Management.
